Like to go off-roads, but can’t do it in your RV? Well think again. The Earth Roamer XV-JP is the RV for you. It’s the only camper that can go off-roads without flipping on its roof, and that’s due mostly to the fact that it’s based on the Jeep Wranger Rubicon Unlimited platform. In place of the standard Jeep’s two rear doors is a big box containing a bench seat, small kitchen, a toilet and extra storage. It’s not very roomy, but the ‘Loftop’ roof flips opens to increase headroom about nine feet, as well as make room for the queen size bed. If you do head for the trail though, just make sure your pots and pans are securely stowed. You may not find this RV at your local RV dealership, you can find more information on the EarthRoamer XV-JP by clicking here.

Hotel on Wheels Unique Motorhome
April 1st, 2010 · Comments Off
Check out this unique motorhome. While I guess that it can also be considered a tour bus or hotel-on-wheels, this Rotel Tours vehicle features 24 seats and 26 capsule size sleeping areas for guests. This motorhome will, however, make you glad that your Class A Motorhome is so spacious. Sleeping areas in this unusual RV measure just six feet long and three feet high! Hope that you aren’t claustrophobic! Still, tour goers cannot beat the convenience of being able to travel to remote locations and continue to have more cushy sleeping accommodations.

Click here for more information on Rotel.
If you want to get your own hotel on wheels, even if you can only afford a used motorhome, you should definitely check into your options.

Interesting Strange RV- It’s a Boatorhome
February 15th, 2010 · Comments Off
Last month, I came across an interesting post by RV Lifestyle Experts about this strange RV seen in Arizona.

This unique RV is a Highwave Boatorhome which is made in Ontario, Canada and was introduced at the 1996 Miami International Boat Show. Then Ford Econoline Super Van front detaches to reveal the boat that comprises the back of the motorhome. One thing is for sure, this is not your typical used RV for sale! But, it is a cool weird RV just the same.

Neat Unicat RV Video- Unique RV
February 1st, 2010 · Comments Off
Back in September, we wrote a popular post about the Unicat RV, so we decided to follow that post up with more intriguing information about the Unicat RV. While this might not be your typical RV for Sale, because it retails at close to $600,000, it is still an interesting RV to look at and dream about.
The Unicat RV in the above video is designed to go forward in up to four feet of water and pretty much any weather conditions. The Unicat Expedition Vehicle gets 8 miles to the gallon, so try filling up the twin 120-gallon gas tanks with fuel (if you average 60 mph while driving), and it will cost you approximately $800 to fill the tank. While you might want to look in to more fuel efficient RVs if you are looking to own a motorhome, Unicat is thinking of coming out with a rental program, so it might be a fun splurge to consider renting a Unicat RV at some point. Or, just get into your own smaller version of the Unicat by checking out Used RVs for Sale.

Phew Are you Tired?- RV Truck Camper
January 18th, 2010 · Comments Off
This might take the cake as far as unique truck campers go. How about a truck camper pulled by a bike? People in some countries where vehicles aren’t as common, can get very inventive with how they transport their goods and possessions. While you probably won’t be buying a unique truck camper like this among other used RVs for sale, it is kind of fun to see how imaginative other RV-lovers can get.

Unique RV picture found on Woodalls forum from user sstgermain.
One of the drawbacks of this set up might be that you can’t protect it with a RV burglar alarm system because someone can just get on your bike and ride away.
